Hi! I've recently picked crocheting back up as a hobby and have been making blankets of all sizes for friends and family for various and sundry occasions and thought I might try my hand at consignments. I have a full-time job and find crocheting as a good hobby to keep me busy.

Currently, I've been working on baby blankets and have 2 made so far. Six more are in the works including baby blankets in non-traditional colors. All of my blankets are washable and dryable, and my rates are extremely reasonable. I base my prices on the cost of the yarn, and then a flat fee for labor depending on the size of the blanket. For larger items (queen/king size bed afghans), the flat fee will also depend on the design.

Labor breakdown:

Baby blankets--$15
Toddler bed afghans--$20
Throws--$25
Twin-size afghans--$30
Full-size afghans--$40
Queen-size afghans--$50-$60 (the ones that have to be built in pieces are more expensive because they're more time-consuming)
King and California King sized--$65-$75.

For the King-sized, I'd need measurements since I've only got a queen-size at home to work with. In all honesty, I haven't made a king-sized one yet, but I have made 3 queen-sized, 3 full-sized, 4 twin-sized, and a TON of baby and toddler blankets and throws.

Yarn pricing will depend on the type of yarn, weight, etc. But I will always provide a copy of the receipt for the yarn I buy for your blanket to prove yarn-worth.

The great thing about consigning one is that you tell me the color-scheme you want, size, and basic design you'd be interested in. I'm willing to work with you on suggestions...or you can tell me what colors and the yarn weight and let me create something for you. It's all up to you!

Please note that if I end up getting a queen or king-size consignment order, I can't take any more until I'm almost done with the one I'm working on. They take quite a bit of time, so please be patient with me. I work full time and do need to sleep on occasion. :)

I will ship domestic and internationally (rates depend on the weight), and I accept PayPal and money-orders. I will take a personal check, but shipment will have to wait until the check clears, obviously. I would also suggest shipping insurance, but I won't require it.

If you are interested in either consigning an afghan from me or purchasing a pre-made baby blanket (I've got 2 done and have 6 more in the works), please comment or email me at changelingkat73 at comcast dot net! I have photo samples of some blankets I've already completed in the past (alas, not all of them though). I look forward to hearing from you!!

Blanket for a baby boy done in white and 2 shades of blue. Due to the stitch, this blanket has some texture to it. It's also a little denser of a stitch, and so is warmer than the girl blanket. Measures about 38" by 32". Also made with medium-weight soft acrylic yarn. Perfect size for cuddling! Special Price $15.00 USD plus shipping.

I currently have a pastel yellow and green one a little over half-done, and once I've completed it, I will be posting pictures of that one as well.
