Just so you have some pictures of other projects I've completed (they were for gifts, etc, and so are not for sale...but if you like them, I can certainly make another!), I'm posting pictures of those as well. Not dial-up safe! If you've followed my personal journal, you've probably already seen these. :)

This is one I completed most recently for my goddaughter. She wanted a red-white-blue one for her bed.

This one I made for my brother and my sister-in-law for their wedding. It's the largest piece I've completed to-date--covers a queen-size bed, even with enough overhang for a pillow-top. Done in single-stitch so it's very warm. Peter and Kate love it since it matches the color scheme in their bedroom, living room, and office/second-bedroom. I guess it helps when you're there to help paint and so have an accurate grasp of their color palette. :)

This was my first consignment--my uncle and aunt wanted a throw to go with their new living room set--and it's in winter tones. I used a deep hunter green, a soft cream and a deep burgandy so the blanket wouldn't look too "Christmas-ish."

My oldest goddaughter, Ashley, asked me to make a black-cat blanket...and since I'm not quite talented enough to acrually crochet a cat design on a blanket, I used a charcoal black, heather gray, a creamy tan, and some fun novelty yarns to make her a black calico blanket. Since it's made primarily of homespun, it's almost as soft as baby-yarn, but not as light-weight.

Thank you! :)

Not really. I was under a deadline for the top one, so I got that done in 3 months. The smaller ones only took a month or two. I was working pretty steadily on them. :)

The checkerboard takes a long time, and it was all done in single-stitch

Thank you. :) Well, not a mom yet, nor am I work-at-home at this time. Hopefully next year. :) But crocheting is something I picked up from my grandmother when I was a child, and I've recently rediscovered a passion for it.

Re: hi there

Holy crapola, woman!! It's been a long time, and it's good to hear from you! I've been wondering.

*hugs hugs hugs more hugs*

None of them have sold yet, so you have your pick of the blue one or the neutral one. And just because it's you, I'll probably let you have them both for a reduced price. Just send me an email at changelingkat73 at comcast dot net. :D

Info on Afghan I need made

I found your page and fell in love with your work. I really need a afghan for a family friend done and don't know where to turn. It needs to be an afghan that has some air circulation. It is for a rather large lady, and if the stitching is too heavy, it would tend to be to warm for her. It will be used as "lap" throw...but she's a big girl, so....what size would you suggest/stitching/time needed to make it/ can you put a "TAG" sewn on it somewhere that says something like...
"To so & so, from us" that kind of thing. Would really love to hear from you soon if you can. Your work is SOOOO pretty.VEry nice!! You can write me back if you dont mind at: kepiku39@yahoo.com

Thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon. Deb =)

Do you have an email that I can message you at? I'm definitely looking into ordering a king sized blanket, and would love to be able to talk! :) Much appreciated

Certainly. Contact me at clindquist73 at gmail dot com. Since I'm currently in the middle of another project, I'd have to get that one done first. Looking to be freed up come the end of January. And a king sized would take me awhile (full time work and full time single mom doesn't leave a lot of spare time), so as long as you didn't need it right away, we can talk.
